PZF Games Recap: Day 3, 30/06/2020

The third round of the PZF Games happened tonight and boy was it a spicy round. 7 of us logged on, including host McBruh to play the second Club Penguin round, starting with "Hot Potato (snowball?)"

McBruh's igloo was decorated with a semi-circle of chairs, each with a competitor in them, and the task was to pass a snowball around until the 30 second time was us. The first 30 seconds was tense with the snowball being thrown around rapidly until the time was up, with Hidcre being too slow to pass it on. Hidcre solemnly walked to the corner to spectate the rest of the game, being first eliminated. The game continued, until the only people left were 2020 PZF Couple of the Year, Snork and Saph. The most rapid round began, with the snowball being passed every second. McBruh said stop after 30 seconds, while Snork had the snowball, giving the win to Saph!

"nothin personnel kid"

While it seemed that Hidcre would be eliminated, given that she was first out of Hot potato, McBruh gave Saph the power to choose who to eliminate. After some tense waiting, she decided to eliminate Fernando, one of the winners in Day 2. We decided to interview Saph to get her thoughts on the day:

Interviewer: How did you expect Day 3 of the PZF Games to go?
Saph: I wasn't sure what to expect on Day 3... Most of the games were new to me as a CP variant, like Simon Says and Hot Potato, and so I wasn't sure I was going to make it! I was definitely expecting fun, though, and we got that!
Interviewer: Who do you think is your biggest competition going into Day 4?

Saph: Thinking about competition,,, Hm. Likely Hidcre or Fernando, if he were to be revived for the next games. Hidcre is good at spotting potential competition, so if she sees me as such It's On™️... As for Fernando, he has a powerful spirit. I have no doubts, he won't give up.
Interviewer: Who do you predict will be revived in the Revival Game?

Saph: Either Takoz or Fernando, I'd say. Fernando as he will not give up, and Takoz since he genuinely enjoys the games! I'd love to see Takoz competing again :)
Interviewer: How do you think you'll perform in Jackbox on Day 4?

Saph: Jackbox games are not my specialty... I'm new to the games there, so I'm not sure how I'll fare - But saying that, I won Hot Potato, so who knows ;)

Next round was Simon Says, so we all stayed in McBruh's igloo, waiting on his orders.

Simon Seville (Live-Action) | Heroes and villians Wiki | Fandom
unfortunately we couldnt get the real Simon, so McBruh had to fill in :( It just isn't the same..

Simon Says started and we did a lot of stuff, like switching rooms, doing bombs, racing to different parts of the room. The numbers dwindled as McBruh caught more people out until the finals were Bolio and Snork. After many tries, none of us were eliminated so to shake things up, McBruh hid somewhere on the island for us to find. Eventually one of us did, and Snork took his 3rd win, the most of anyone so far! The real question on your minds however, is who got eliminated? McBruh gave Snork a choice, to move on with no elimination, or to eliminate someone. Snork chose to move on, and now we're looking forward to Thursday, where we're playing two Jackbox games, Drawful, and Trivia Murder Party!

Tomorrow is going to be the revival game, where one eliminated contestant who showed up to the games has a chance to return. Who will be revived: Alex, Retro, Fernando, Takoz, Arne, Callico, Doggo, or Teddy? Let us know your predictions!

Remaining Competitors: Bolio, Hidcre, Saph, and Snork. Let us know who you think will win Day 4 of the PZF Games!

PZF Games Recap: Day 2, 28/06/2020

Day 2 of the PZF games shook up the competition, we had 2 brand new victors and we said goodbye to another competitor. Today's game was part one of Club Penguin games, with the rest of the games set to take place tomorrow. 10 people gathered on cpr to commence the day with a Sled Racing tournament.

The sled tournament started quickly and in the finals of the loser's bracket, Snork and Retro's lives were on the line. Snork lost the final round because he is very bad at sled racing, but fortunately he had his immunity from his win in Day 1 so nobody got eliminated in Sled Racing. The winner's bracket commenced with all the people who won their rounds, and after a riveting final match between Hidcre and Fernando, Fernando won victory and immunity for the next game of the night!

We interviewed him to see what he thought about his win!
Interviewer: Did you expect to start Day 2 of the PZF Games with a victory?
Fernando: No probably not. I expected to get on okay as I have done well in sled competitions in the past. Its probably one of my most played minigames on CPR and maybe even the original CP. I think my underestimation of how well I would do came down to not knowing the quality of the competition.
Interviewer: How do you feel going into Day 3 of the competition?
Fernando: I think that I might go out on Day 3, considering the fact I'm not very good at simon says or hot potato but who knows.
Interviewer: Who do you think will be your biggest threat in the competition?
Fernando: Either Snork or Stozap (aka Bolio), considering those are the only two others to have won events so far. I'm assuming Stozap will do well tomorrow as he will likely have gotten a morale boost from Musical Chairs today

With Sled Racing finished, we moved onto the next phase of the competition, Musical Chairs, hosted in McBruh's igloo..

nobody gave me any photos from musical chairs yet so here is a chair stock photo

..Musical Chairs, normally a fun party game, was very intense. Unlike the Sled Racing tournament, where winning one game of 3 made you safe, the Musical Chair round eliminates at the very start. We all ran around McBruh's igloo as he scattered the chairs around, and we all scrambled quickly to get a seat. Unfortunately there couldn't be enough seats for everyone, and we had to say goodbye to Takoz, the late arrival to the competition.

Although I'm sure everyone was relieved to be safe, there was still immunity to be won for tomorrow's games so we were fighting hard. Kehato got eliminated, as did Snork, Light, Hidcre, Saph, Retro.. until two remained, Immune Fernando, and Bolio. With one chair left, there could only be one person with immunity tomorrow, and it was Bolio!
We gave Bolio the same interview to wrap up the recap
Interviewer: Did you expect to end Day 2 of the PZF Games with a victory?

Bolio: I did not expect to win in day 2
Interviewer: How do you feel going into Day 3 of the competition?

Bolio: I don't feel great going into day 3
Interviewer: Who do you think will be your biggest threat in the competition?

Bolio: My biggest threat is myself

Thank you to Fernando and Bolio for the interviews! Who do you think will be eliminated in Round 3? Who do you think could win the PZF Games? Let us know!

PZF Games Recap: Day 1, 26/06/2020

At 3pm est today, the first PZF Games began, hosted by McBruh and Light. The PZF Games is an elimination competition where each day we play a couple of different games. Whoever comes last in these games gets eliminated, and whoever gets first gains immunity and role (and potentially other powers).

Game 1 was a pzf quiz on quizziz. Many questions were asked, with topics varying from pzf phrases, to the names of Kehato's dogs (Yoda and Zoey!) After the quiz, it was revealed that snork was the winner of the first round, getting 1 question wrong, and maintaining a 29 question streak. Teddy was the first eliminated scoring 26/30, showing what a tight competition the pzf games is.

note: Kehato was not counted in the rankings, but advanced to round 2

Round 2 was the Skribbl.io round! We had 8 participants for this game, as we allowed Takoz to take the quiz late to earn his position, which he did. We played 3 rounds of intense skribbling, with the fight for first close until the end. Snork came out victorious yet again, and unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Alex. However some twists have been revealed for tomorrow..

..after winning, Snork was presented with his prizes of roles and immunity for Day 2, however he was granted another power aswell, the power to revive 2 participants who didn't show up to Round 1! He chose to revive fellow leader Retro, as well as Callico, who didn't show to Skribblio. As well as that, McBruh and Light revealed another twist. Alex, Teddy, and the loser of Day 2 will all fight to gain their spot in the contest again!!

The competition is heating up with a great start to the 2020 PZF Games! Who do you predict will win, let us know!

Arne/Snork Dual Lead, 26/06/2020

Arne had his dual-leading debut today, leading our EU training today with my help for some of it! We maxed 8 today and did rapid tactics around cpr Abominable!

Find Four Tournament 25/06/2020

Today we logged on for what turned out to be a riveting tournament! 13 people competed in this tournament, with most of us crowding at the end to watch the tense final between Saph and Lavandula. Saph became the winner after a match that almost filled the entire board, with Lava putting up a really strong fight! Congrats to Saph, and thank you to everyone who took part!
